Veneers in Kingman

Veneers in Kingman

Are an excellent alternative to crowns in cosmetic situations. They provide a much more conservative approach to changing a tooth's color, size or shape. Veneers are ultra-thin shells of ceramic porcelain, which are bonded to the front of teeth. Veneers are placed to mask discolored fillings in front teeth. Patients with gaps between their front teeth or teeth that are chipped or worn may consider veneers. Generally, veneers will last for many years, and is the ideal choice for improving the appearance of the front teeth.

During the first visit, Dr. Haynes will prepare the necessary tooth/teeth and take an impression. Just like crown and bridge procedures, this gives our laboratory an exact mold to use when creating your veneer(s). A temporary veneer will be placed to protect the prepared tooth/teeth and gums while the permanent veneer(s) is being made.

To complete the veneer procedure, the second appointment will be to deliver your new veneer(s). Your temporary will be removed and the new permanent veneer(s) will be cemented in place. Placement usually involves some adjustments to get the fit just right. Veneers are often used to improve the strength or appearance of teeth.

(This cosmetic procedure is two appointments. Preparation time is about 90min. Delivery time is about 60min.)
