Implant Dentist in Kingman

A dental implant is an artificial tooth root that is placed into your jaw to hold a replacement tooth or bridge. Dental implants may be an option for people who have lost a tooth or teeth due to dental cavities, an injury, or some other reason.
Implants are used in many ways whether you are replacing a single tooth, several teeth or all of your teeth.
- If you are missing a single tooth, one implant along with an abutment and a crown can replace it.
- If you are missing several teeth, implant-supported bridges can replace them.
- If you are missing all of your teeth, an implant-supported full bridge or full denture can replace them.
This Procedure is a team effort between you and Dr. Haynes and does not happen in just a few weeks. Implants take more time to heal but the finished result is worth the wait. Times will also vary depending on the person, implant, and final restoration(s). All cases are situational and will be discussed in detail by Dr. Haynes so that you are fully informed at all times. Please do not hesitate to ask questions we are here to help.
The first appointment is scheduled for Dr. Haynes to do an Implant Work-up. This will consist of implant specific details and measurements, the necessary x-rays, a panoramic and a periapical (both included in the implant cost). This allows her to measure and determine the size and type of implant that will best suit your needs. *You will also be given pre-operation instructions and medications that will need to be followed carefully.
The second appointment is scheduled for the surgical placement of your implant. Dr. Haynes reserves specific afternoons for surgery and does not schedule any other appointments during this time. *Once the implant is placed she will do post operation checks every 4 weeks for approximately 4 months or until the implant has bone regenerated around it.
The following appointment Dr. Haynes will place an abutment on the new implant(s) and take an impression for the final restoration.
The final appointment will be to deliver the final restoration.
