Dental Bridges in Kingman

A dental bridge serves the purpose in your mouth because it literally "bridges" the gap created by missing teeth. That's a good thing because missing teeth can cause surrounding teeth to shift, which may change your bite and cause jaw problems. Dental bridges also serve an aesthetic purpose, allowing you to show off your beautiful smile without shame or fear that your missing tooth is what people will remember. Unlike removable devices such as dentures, dental bridge work is cemented onto natural teeth or dental implants on either side of a missing tooth. (Depending on how many teeth need to be replaced)

During the first visit, Dr. Haynes will prepare the necessary teeth and take an impression. Just like crown and veneer procedures, this gives our laboratory an exact mold to use when creating your bridge. A temporary bridge will be placed to protect the prepared teeth and gums while the permanent bridge is being made.

To complete the dental bridge procedure, second appointment will be to deliver your new bridge. Your temporary will be removed and the new permanent bridge will be cemented in place. Placement usually involves some adjustments to get the fit just right. Once again although very beneficial to dental health, the procedure and materials can be relatively expensive, bridge work has been known to last 10 years.

(This restoration will take two appointments. Preparation time is about 90min. Delivery time is about 30min)
